Royal butler, Grant Harrold, shares a surprising memory of Kate being ignored at Prince William's 60th birthday party.

William and Kate first met at St Andrews University in 2001 and dated for 10 years before getting married in 2011.

The couple have three children: George, Charlotte, and Louis.

William and Kate have been appointed the Prince and Princess of Wales since the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

They also keep their Cambridge titles and inherit the Cornwall titles from Charles and Camilla.

William is first in line to the throne, with George as second in line.

The butler says the couple is "no different to any other couple that were beginning off, in love and spending time together".

The butler feels "privileged and honored" to be around the couple, describing them as "brilliant" and "great fun".

Through a close friend, this surprising story shows the couple's life from university to royal family.
